1. Acceptance of Terms

Welcome to Peaceful. By accessing or using our mobile application and web services (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Eligibility

The Service is intended for users aged 18 and older. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years of age. Parents and caregivers aged 18+ may use the Service to guide meditation sessions with children under their direct supervision.

3. Description of Service

Peaceful provides guided meditation and wellness content, including:

• Audio and video meditation sessions
• Mindfulness courses
• Progress tracking and streaks
• Family-friendly content suitable for household use

4. Subscription Plans

Peaceful offers two subscription tiers:

4.1 Peace Plan - $5.99/month

• Access to full meditation library (audio and video)
• Unlimited meditation sessions
• Progress tracking

4.2 Peace Plus Plan - $9.99/month

• Everything in Peace Plan
• Access to mindfulness courses
• All premium content

4.3 Free Content

Limited meditation sessions are available for free without a subscription. Premium content requires an active subscription.

5. Billing and Payment

• Payment Processing: All subscriptions are processed through Apple App Store or Google Play Store
• Billing Cycle: Monthly subscriptions are billed on a recurring basis
• No Free Trial: Subscriptions begin immediately upon purchase with no free trial period
• Auto-Renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period
• Price Changes: We reserve the right to change subscription prices with 30 days' notice

6. Cancellation and Refunds

6.1 How to Cancel

iOS Users:

• Go to Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions
• Select Peaceful and tap "Cancel Subscription"
• Or visit: apps.apple.com/account/subscriptions

Android Users:

• Open Google Play Store → Menu → Subscriptions
• Select Peaceful and tap "Cancel Subscription"
• Or visit: play.google.com/store/account/subscriptions

6.2 Refund Policy

Refunds are handled according to Apple App Store and Google Play Store policies:

• Apple: Request refunds through reportaproblem.apple.com
• Google: Request refunds through play.google.com/store/account

We do not have the ability to issue refunds directly. All refund requests must go through Apple or Google.

7. Account Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• All activities that occur under your account
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized access
• Ensuring your account information is accurate and up-to-date

8. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to:

• Share your account with others
• Use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
• Attempt to access, copy, or distribute our content outside the app
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers
• Upload viruses or malicious code

9. Intellectual Property

All content, including but not limited to text, audio, video, graphics, logos, and software, is the property of Peaceful or our licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works without our express written permission.

10. Content Streaming

Our Service streams content via HTTPS. You acknowledge that:

• Content quality depends on your internet connection
• Streaming may consume data on cellular networks
• Content is not downloadable for offline use (audio may be cached temporarily)

11. Parental Supervision

While Peaceful is designed for adults 18+, our content is family-friendly. Parents and caregivers may choose to guide meditation sessions with children under their supervision. Parents are solely responsible for determining what content is appropriate for children in their care.

12. Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

13. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, PEACEFUL SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY.

14. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account and access to the Service at our sole discretion, without notice, for conduct that we believe:

• Violates these Terms
• Is harmful to other users or the Service
• Exposes us to legal liability

Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease.

15. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms in the app and updating the "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

16. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.

17. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association, except where prohibited by law.

18. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
